Dearest Rico,

Today is your 53rd birthday and our 8th birthday we have shared side by side. I want to Thank you for your emotional maturity it's very important not only to me but to our whole family. You are a calm leader when you allow yourself to lead from your heart, you remain emotionally intelligent, steady in chaos, and I absolutely adore all the great wisdom you bring. You may not always express everything your feeling but your heart always runs very deep. We appreciate the way you always hold space for each of us, you are definitely our rock even when life throws waves at you. I appreciate the fact you continue to better yourself working toward sobriety, practicing managing all those crazy emotions you hold and not allow them to control you. Since I have met you, I'm amazed at how you've grown into such a compassionate version of yourself.

Thank you for being so dependable and extremely thoughtful and much more spiritually open as the years have passed.


I know life gets so busy, and with all the family responsibilities and obligations I hope we don't ever make you feel unseen or left out. I know you take on so much on your own, and sometimes it feels in your mind that you shoulder so much of our burdens all on your own. You are not alone, and I know deep inside you know that. I want to remind you again though, I see all the heavy weight you carry to get our family by day to day grinding with all your might and sacrificing your time and so much pf your peace to change our lives for the better. You are never forgotten and there isn't a moment I could ever forget you. I hope you also know how needed you are, this family couldn't function without you. You matter to us, you matter to me. Even though it seems sometimes your fighting your battles out there alone, you are not alone, I'm always on the other side waiting for you doing all I can to better our home and life.


I believe in you so much, I hope you understand even when I sound like a broken record, it's because I believe in you so much. I don't ever want you to resist any necessary transformations that would prevent you from leveling up. I will always drive you to get rid of old habits, job patterns, fears, or any outdated way of thinking that no longer serves you or the person you strive to be, even when you stubbornly cling to it.

Growth is always waiting but its so important to stop avoiding the discomfort of change. We are a do or die duo, and I'm always ready to shed the old and build the new.


I hope you know that you are never stuck or trapped with me. I will always try to be here for you mentally and physically, and keep destroying any emotional walls, fears , and vulnerabilities and continue to express what we want and truly need, I hope you always feel safe enough with me to do the same. There is so much love here, we can not ever allow the fear of rocking the boat to hold either of us back from full intimacy.

I pray for you daily and I pray you begin to trust your intuition when it comes to your career and work goals. Don't ignore the red flags, and don't ever undervalue your own inner wisdom, or allow others' voices to drown out your own truth. You know who you are, trust your gut instinct. When the fools wanna rush you, Slow down. Get quiet. Tune in. You know more than you realize, you just need to trust it. It’s time to stop ignoring the signs.


Enough with the overthinking, don’t be hesitant, your hidden strength is actually your curiosity, intelligence, and sharp perception especially when you're not second-guessing himself.

When channeled positively, you are such a powerful communicator and learner. Just refine your focus and quiet the inner critic.


The universe is gently nudging you to please..."Don’t lose your spark." Somewhere inside, you are full of dreams and passion that may have fizzled due to doubt, delay, or distraction. It’s okay to start again. It’s okay to be excited about life again. I AM RIGHT HERE WITH YOU.
