COME and Watch :)

COME and watch ;) originally written : May 18, 2017

FLAAAAAAAAATLine!

"When the world feels loud, my heart goes quiet, flatline mode engaged."

Flatline~ is how I have been feeling lately; close myself off from the world….

Watching all the “fakes” on Facebook They will not win, they will not “get to me”, unless I give them the power…

The funny thing is, I always told my kids while they were young, people stay the same, they just get older; and play different games. You would think some people would soften with age, but nah they just get more vindictive.

But, in this world it is easy to feel at home with evil and negativity we just learn in our own way how to adapt; the sad thing is when the negativity is coming from close~… at home. It seems the more we let people in, the more opportunity we give for people to disappoint us.

I find it amazing that there are so many people that can keep a clear conscience when there are so many things they haven’t come clean with or even began to face… but I am not going to be a hypocrite there are those things I myself need to perfect but some things are difficult especially to those of us, who know better.

I want to take some time to talk to you, reading this~ my ❤ dear followers who I appreciate and think of on the daily, while I continue to share my expressions with you… I have been working on this website for 9 years as of 2017~ !

Nine years of words, images, and heart-work.
Nine years of words, images, and heart-work.

Well, writing and sharing my expressions “latest post“; this past weekend I had a lot of new visitors and the more time I spend on my website I realize that the people are coming~ built it and they will come 😉 I want to Thank you each of you for inspiring me to continue, growing from a writer, to creating a website with so much more of what I love to do; and accepting what I throw out there and just loving me still; and continuing on this journey we share together.

I know a lot of people don’t like to read, they will message me or tell me ~ they have never followed a BLOG, what is it…

Permanently exposed was the Name of my first website; if you look at my logo on my home page

Permanently exposed ~ where truth meets tenderness.
Permanently exposed ~ where truth meets tenderness.

It is sharing my daily expressions on things I am or have overcome, survival of the fittest, we are all just trying to survive the best we can. Encouraging to live, letting go of fear, I make fun/silly videos to laugh at myself and allow you to laugh at me too 😉 because laughter is really important and if it's on my behalf; that is worth it to me.

IT really is all about the LOVE, learning to Love ourselves and each other; but God first.

Today, I am working on moving my blog; article by article to this new site called Messy and Divine 😉.

Some pictures taken from my old gallery I absolutely love digital imagery.

I enjoy expressing my self a lot of the times using photography, and music. Working on Graphic Projects using Photo Frames, Colors, Effects~ Playing with Pic’s is awesome and giving it that feeling of the moment~ the plus of being able to integrate my other passion~music makes it even better. So my videos; photos, are just as important as my blog.

Thank you for taking time out of your day today to spend with me ❤

“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23
“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” — Romans 12:21
“Bad company corrupts good character.” — 1 Corinthians 15:33
“Let all that you do be done in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14
“Let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’” — Matthew 5:37

🧠 Psychology Nuggets (for the days that feel like a flatline)

Negativity bias: Our brains are wired to notice and remember the negative more than the positive. It’s not you being “too sensitive” it’s biology. Naming it helps tame it.

Social comparison theory: Scrolling can trigger constant comparisons, which lower mood and increase self-criticism. Curate your feed like you curate your home.

Boundaries as self-respect: A boundary isn’t a wall; it’s a door with a doorknob only you control. You decide who gets access and how long they can stay.

Cognitive reappraisal: Reframing “They’re fake” into “That’s their mask, I choose my truth” reduces stress and returns you to your power.

Micro-joy practice: 60 seconds of noticing something good (sun on your face, baby giggles, a lyric you love) can interrupt spirals and re-oxygenate the soul.

📌 Truths I’m Living By (today)

I don’t hand my power to strangers on the internet.

I can be open-hearted and well-boundaried.

Laughter is medicine, even when the joke is me. 😅

God gets the first word and the last word over my day.

🙏 A Short Prayer Over This Post

God, guard my heart and steady my mind. Where I feel flatlined, breathe Your breath. Where cynicism creeps in, fill me with courage and clarity. Help me love without losing myself, tell the truth without cruelty, and walk in joy without pretending. Amen.
