Tarot Isn't Evil, But Judgment Might Be

THE THOUGHTFUL ARGUMENT: “Tarot Is Not Evil”

Faith & Tarot: Not a Contradiction

Tarot is a Tool, Not a Religion

Tarot cards are inanimate tools pieces of paper with  art and  symbolism. The intent behind their use determines their energy. A kitchen knife  can prepare a meal or cause harm; it depends on the user. Tarot, when used with  love,  self-awareness, or  spiritual curiosity, is a mirror NOT a Ouija board.

"Evil doesn't live in paper. It lives in intention."

I consider myself an extremely spiritual person. I know I’ve been saved by the blood of Jesus Christ no question about that . My relationship with God is real, personal, and rooted in  love, not performance. And honestly? I don’t feel the need to prove my salvation to anyone .

"Saved by Grace, led by intuition."

Being close to the Lord isn’t about checking off a list of religious rules  or putting on a show of how “holy” you appear to others. It’s about walking with Him daily in your heart , in your struggles , in your quiet moments  when nobody’s watching.

So no, I won’t be out here auditioning for anyone’s approval . God knows my name, my heart, my flaws and still calls me His . That’s enough for me .

 Tarot Promotes Intuition and Reflection

Tarot is often used like spiritual journaling like prayer or meditation.

It helps people:

  •  Reflect on their life

  •  Seek clarity in tough moments

  •  Connect with inner wisdom or divine guidance

It’s no more “evil” than reading a devotional , doing breathwork , or writing in a gratitude journal .

Let's Talk About Deuteronomy

The Bible is Frequently Misquoted on Divination~Many cite Deuteronomy 18:10–12 to claim tarot is sinful . But those verses condemn sacrificial rituals, necromancy, and idol worship NOT introspective tools like tarot . The word “divination” in ancient Hebrew ( qesem) referred to manipulating spirits for power, not reflecting with symbols . Context.  Matters.

 There Are Christian Tarot Readers

Yes, they exist!

Many use tarot to connect more deeply with God , angels , or the Holy Spirit . Some even design Christian tarot decks with biblical themes . They don’t use the cards to tell the future they use them to get closer to divine truth .

Jesus Embraced Parables and Symbols, Tarot cards are visual stories just like parables.

Jesus used symbolic storytelling constantly.

Tarot simply asks:

 “What’s happening in the soul?”

 “What’s the lesson here?”

 “Where is love showing up?”

The Real Danger? Misunderstanding

You think tarot is evil?

Sir/Ma'am/Y'all ...it’s 78 pieces of paper with pictures, calm down. Tarot doesn’t summon demons it summons clarity. It won’t lead you to hell it might just lead you to therapy .

And if you’re quoting Deuteronomy to cancel tarot, then let’s cancel mixed fabrics and shrimp  too, because those are in there too, boo. Tarot isn’t about predicting doom . It’s about understanding cycles, honoring emotion , and tuning into something greater whether you call that God, Spirit, or your higher self .

Evil doesn’t live in paper, it lives in intention. And when your intention is healing , growth , and light  that’s not evil, that’s divine. So, Yes, I read tarot. Yes, I love Jesus. And no, that’s not a contradiction for me it’s a connection

My walk with God is real, deep, and personal. I don’t need to prove my salvation, my holiness, or my spiritual path to anyone.

If that offends you? That’s your conviction not mine .

This isn’t a debate it’s a declaration. If you don’t approve, feel free to scroll on~~~~~with love, of course
