✨ Jesus, I Trust in Thee ✨ December 31, 2016
Life would be so much easier... if it would just work out the way we plan, right?
But that’s not how this journey goes.
It’s hard not to crave immediate answers. We want to know everything right now. In a world where Amazon delivers tomorrow and Google gives answers in seconds, we’ve been conditioned to believe patience is optional. Society screams: Hustle. Get it. Get it fast. Take it before someone else does.

🌀 Greed. Rush. FOMO. It’s the culture.

But life? Life moves on divine time.
And divine time doesn’t punch a clock for our convenience.

Why does everything feel like a long, drawn-out process?
Why does waiting stir so much frustration, anxiety, and even hopelessness in us?
We wonder:
Haven’t I gone through enough already?
Haven’t I been faithful? Don’t I deserve a break?
But faith doesn’t work on a reward system. It's not a contract we negotiate it's a surrender we choose again and again.
"Faith is not about everything turning out okay. Faith is about being okay no matter how things turn out."
“I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you...” – Jeremiah 29:11
Over the years, we face trials, detours, and disappointments that test our endurance. We look back and think, I’ve proven myself. I’ve done my part. But truth be told, faith is proven most when nothing makes sense, when everything feels unfair, and when you still refuse to give up.
We all want what we think we deserve. We pray for what we want. But God knows what we need.
We ask for clarity, but God gives us mystery.
We want control, but God invites trust.
We want the destination, but He hands us a journey.

📖 1 Timothy 3:16
“Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great...”
We spend our lives trying to solve life, like it's a riddle. But some things are not meant to be solved. They're meant to be surrendered.

We want fairness, logic, justice on our terms forgetting that our terms are human. God’s terms are holy.

A long-time friend of mine recently reminded me of something that truly resonated…
He compared life to the game show The Price is Right you know, the one with three mystery doors. Behind each door lies an unknown outcome. You make your choice without fully knowing what’s behind any of them. Life is like that a series of doors, and none of them come with previews.

We rush to choose, convinced the sooner we know what’s behind Door #1, the sooner we can feel peace. But often, even when we pick a door and step through, we’re still unsure.
Looks can be deceiving. A prize can quickly become a disguised disaster.

"Sometimes what looks like a missed opportunity is God’s protection."
"Don’t be fooled by what shines; not all that glitters is gold."
🌀 Yesterday, I meditated on two things: Timing and Humility.
I know this truth: it’s not about my time. It’s about God’s timing.
Still, I feel that all-too-familiar pressure:
Time is precious. I need to move. I need to decide. I need to fix this NOW.
But the Lord’s timing is not early. It’s not late. It’s divine.
And when I look back, really look, I realize the most fulfilling, peaceful, and fruitful times of my life were when I let God lead.
“God is never in a hurry, but He is always on time.”
“When you leave everything in God’s hands, you begin to see God’s hand in everything.”
When I ignored His knock, the path grew darker.
But when I let Him steer, even the detours brought purpose.
I’ve learned faith isn’t about blind loyalty. It’s about holding on when everything else tells you to let go. It’s about trusting the unseen more than what’s in front of you.
Thank you to my dear friends Daniel Lozano and his beautiful wife Alice, for over twenty years of unwavering encouragement and example. You reminded me that faith isn't something you say. It's something you live.
I can’t let sacred phrases like “Jesus, I Trust in You” become empty rituals.
They are not just words. They are weapons of faith against a world full of fear.

As long as God is my center no matter what path I take I will not be lost.
Because I am led by love.
🛑 Don’t rush the process.
🕊️ Stay centered in Him.
🕰️ Trust the timing.
❤️ Walk by faith, not by sight.
Please share if this spoke to your soul today. Someone else might need the reminder too. 💌
