Born from Need, Sustained by Love

I’m often told how blessed I am to be so creative to have such a constant stream of ideas. And yes, I am both innovative and blessed. But the truth is, my creativity was born out of necessity. From a young age, I didn’t get to just let life happen I had to shape it, navigate it, and survive it. Creativity became my compass. Every idea we have is a fusion of something old and something new. That means your past is always leaving you breadcrumbs clues on how to face what you're going through today. So let me tell you this: you can make it through whatever you're facing, no matter how dark, heavy, or hopeless it feels. I promise.

These past few weeks have been especially tough. My kidneys are still battling that one last stubborn stone. And on top of the physical pain, I’ve been writing something deeply emotional an intense piece that’s been draining me both physically and spiritually. It’s the kind of writing that forces you to revisit the hardest memories… but with a purpose. I write to make a difference. I write to reach someone’s heart maybe even lead them back to their faith in God. But just as I finished that emotional labor, I faced a new challenge: delivering this message face-to-face to a group of about 30 women I love and admire.

And I’ll be honest it left me feeling exposed. Vulnerable. Weak. When you’re already feeling fragile, even the everyday parts of life can start to crumble. And asking for help? That’s never been easy for me.

In the past, when I’ve reached out, I’ve sometimes lost relationships because of it and that fear stays with me. Still, it’s strange… because I have no problem giving to the people I love, expecting nothing in return. No scoreboard. Just love. At the heart of everything, everything my relationships are what matter most. Always have, always will. Every person in my life is not just part of my story they’re a chance.

A chance to grow, to love better, to reshape my mind, to show up with no conditions… just the fullness of who I am and all the ideas I’ve been given. We can do this. Even when life feels stacked against us, we are not alone. There is a higher power on our side.
